Dr. Quito Swan, Associate Professor at Howard University, African Diaspora History, is the co-founder of Chess Girls DC.Dr.Swan is an Associate Professor of African Diaspora History at Howard University. His research on Black internationalism and global Black Power have taken him through archives and Diasporic communities across Venezuela, the US, Bermuda, London, Kenya, Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu.
